Several people have asked me what it's like to survive COVID-19. So I'll give a quick explanation of my symptoms and what I went through. First, I had a typical "mild" case of COVID-19.
1. Exposure + 6-7 days after exposure I started feeling a slight fever and chills.
2. E+ 10 days I had fever, chills, slight cough, body aches and fatigue.
3. E+ 13 days I had fever, severe chills, severe fatigue, headache, body aches, cold sweat, coughing, barely breathing, diarrhea, loss of appetite, loss of taste.
4. I called the doctor several times. I was not admitted to the hospital and not given prescription medication because I could still breathe on my own.
5. I took several over the counter medication and found Tylenol night time cold and flu to work the best. I slept for 18-20 hours a day. Walking to the bathroom was a challenge.
6. E+ 18 days the symptoms started slightly improving. Fever was improving.
7. E+ 25 days the headaches, body aches, fever, diarrhea were gone. Still coughing shortness of breathing.
8. E+ 28 days still coughing and severe fatigue.
9. E+ 35 days coughing is improving still fatigued.
10. E+ 49 days coughing is gone. Still experiencing fatigue issues.
11. E+ 52 retested for COVID-19.
12. E+ 56 days cleared of COVID-19. Still having fatigue issues.
I lost 25lbs in about two weeks. I went from 190lbs to about 165lbs.
