You're right, there're some differences between speaking and writing English. Actually, you don't need to get a foreigner to make conversations, you can listen to them on the internet, to practice the listening skill, which very useful for you to improve your communication skills.
Yeah I'm following that way. I watch English programs on Youtube everyday. Just a very short time I have made improvements. So now I feel more confident.

If you are good in English, defenitely you are not a lazy person like me :)).
In school time, i attended several English exams, and got some prize. In that time i was good at grammar.
But now, i am not good at all, cant speak to a foreign fluently, cant write a complicate topic :D
In my opinion, your attitude will decide how well your progress. People would be good at something , they need to practise, practise...and practise :D
When i was a student after primary school, i had no computer, got nothing. I mean that i got no prize, could not talk to other people. But i joined some big competition :D
Now I can speak to foreigners about some subject, can write something a little bit, not be good at all.

In speaking, I see that people often use the word 'guys' for both women or men, for ex : you guys ... So, what does it mean?

Thanks for your respond.
I try to learn from watching films or listening song lyric. This method sounds like interesting, but does not highly effective, especially in speaking and writing. Grammar is not my priority :D
Could you please give me some English learning materials, like books or software etc.
Thank you very much.
I can't say what is the best learning material because of you. You think this material is suitable for you, it is the best. There are many materials that could be downloaded easily from Apps Store or Google Play Store. So you must try learning by those and therefore you will have your conclusion!

You guys, I think it's an informal phrase to address a group of people, both male, and female. It's normally used by young people speaking to young people who are friends, or by an adult addressing a group of young people.

Translate to Vietnamese: Chúng mày

You made some grammar mistakes, but you know grammar is not important for communication, thinking too much to correct grammar will not help your listening nor speaking skills. Keep continuing practice your English by listening to native peoples :)
Tks for your comment. I really have no chance to communicate with foreigners. I just study on my own, I often whisper to myself things around me. And I think there's a bit diference between writing down and communicate in English.

The best way to learn english is hard practicing. The good news is that every one agrees with that. The bad news is that people think but do nothing, they tell themself to do it tomorrow.
So can you guys force us to work hard by adding english clips every day or week and the lazy fun men should script its all as fast as he can.
Thanks.

UAZ thanks for your enthusiasm. I learn another mean of the word 'address'. Is there any difference between 'speak to someone and address to someone'? Is that the same meaning?

Thanks for your advice. Come back to English, in my opinion, how about we make a topic for each week. Then every one couldl express their own view about it. What is your opinion???
Vote for your idea. We should focus on a specific topic at which we can diversify discussion.

Both the words 'you guy /you guys' have rich meaning as someone translate it into Vietnamese language.
Personally, I could translate 'you guys" into vietnamese: Chúng mày/ bọn mày /các bạn/anh chị em...or something like that . The word " guys" used to address a group of people of either sex:

For example:
Hey hey ,you guys, let's go !

Translated it into Kinh voice:
-Nàooo , chúng mày đi thôi ( friendly )
-Nào nào, bọn mày lướt đi (angry)
-Nào nàooo, anh chị em đi thôi ạ (a bit polite)

Basically , It is a little bit polite way toward other people ,of course. But it does not express rude or disrespectfully to speaker anyway. Everyone can understand many ways who wants from some sentences of English speakers.

In other hands, the meaning of the words depend on the situatuon and the people you are talking about.
