I have a delicate situation and need ur helps. My student’s mother gave me an envelope with 2 million VND inside. Her reason is that my mum is sick now and the money was given as a gift for my mum (but it is too much, isn’t it?). However, her son (my student) is breaking my school’s rule. If I received that money, I would ignore my student’s violation. What should I do? Do u think I should give money back? If so, how to do? Please give me some advices. Thank in advance.

You should give money back and said thanks for her kindness and don't worry about her child, you'll especially "take care" of him. Yes, 2 millions are as much as 100 thousand in this case.

I myself prefer 2 words "correct" or "replace".

The controversial phrase might be translated as " địa vị thấp kém của phụ nữ...". Is it Okie??? Because the connotative meaning of "status" is totally different from "position". This is my point of view and i'm willing to receive ur 'brick'. Hjhj

If I were you, I would take the money, thanks her with my high appreciations and sincerity. In the mean time, I will definitely tell her about her son's school rules's violation. I may talk with the guy in advance and give him a heads up before telling his mom. Am I too straight forward?

Hey Mr Hoang _ Viet, I'm no longer a teacher of E, just "lost teaching" ( ). Ur writing might be re-written as bellow:
