We have, by this moment, 3771 infected individuals. Since Norway is a small country even this nr of cases leads to, if not a break, than highest possible stress of our health care system. The major problem is even not lack of funds or materials, but simply not enough personnel. There is a hope/modelling, the new infected case rate will slow down soon, otherwise the situation will turn very seriously worse.
As it holds to the present policy, we are at self-isolation for 2 weeks now and remain like that at least until mid-April. Schools are on distance teaching and all non-critical businesses are closed or on WFH if it is possible. Kindergartens are closed. Food and other supplies are sufficient by far. Local mobility is not restricted but not much in use. Practically all international passengers air traffic is grounded. Sport are permitted outdoors for individuals or families. All indoor activities are banned.
As it holds personally for our family and our neighbouring network, we are fine, after the circumstances. As for many others I can admit, we haven’t lived that close together like now, I mean as a family. That can be seen as an opportunity to use. Otherwise, of course, the efficiency of the WFH is in general low. It holds for businesses, but unfortunately for education too.
I trust you are safe in Vietnam as the situation there, as I may judge for the news, seems to be much better than in other parts of the world.
