Vietnam Government Agreed on a Special Mechanism for Formula 1

With only 60 days left to take place the first Formula 1 in Vietnam, the
preparation stages are finishing in the final steps. The Government of
Vietnam agrees on a special mechanism to facilitate the organization of
the race according to the set plan. At the same time, the Government
continues strictly controlling of the outbreak of Corona virus to remain
Hanoi as a safe and friendly destination.
According to the first regular Government’s meeting of 2020: “The
Government agreed on a special mechanism to allow equipment and
goods for Formula 1, which starts at the begining of April to be
temporarily imported, re-exported and exempted from the quality
inspection as same as in other countries' practices, and import and
export procedures in Hanoi to ensure the race as scheduled. It is
estimated that about 300,000 people come to Hanoi to paticipate and
watch this famous race ”- quoted from VTV News on February 5, 2020.
