Be careful, sometime they are very strict. I have often go abroad and usually hand-carrying 2-3 bottles of whiskey without any problem, I see some people got issue when bringing 5 - 6 bottles. I think it's depend on weather conditions

Actually, I'll bring an almost empty cabin size luggage to put 4-5 bottles, you cannot bring all bottles with only plastic bags.

Open 1 bottle, drink it all and then you may find out the solution. I remmembered one time i got 3 bottles by platstic bags
